Scouting provides opportunities for quality leadership and character development. CYLT goes a step further to integrate a Scout’s Catholic Identity into their Scouting Activities. Scouts and Venturers are exposed to what their faith could add to the troop/crew experience thereby helping them to see their leadership rooted in their baptismal call and as a disciple of Christ while having fun!

The CYLT program was developed and will be directed by Fr. Arthur Nave, Jr.

Eligibility:

• Must be a 1st Class Scout or in Venturing
• Current Leadership position or will be soon
• Attended at least one long-term camp before the course begins
• Scoutmaster/Advisor Approval
