The Phoenix Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting (PhxDCCS) is a committee affiliated with the Diocese of Phoenix Youth Ministry serving the Grand Canyon Council of the Boy Scouts of America and Arizona Cactus-Pine Council of the Girl Scouts USA. The Committee is dedicated to promoting "Duty to God" at each level of Scouting. We are affiliated with the National Catholic Committee on Scouting® (NCCS), one of the national Relationship Committees of the Boy Scouts of America, and Region 13 of the NCCS.

Each year the PhxDCCS holds several events to promote Catholic Scouting. These events include a Boy Scout Religious Encounter, Cub Scout Day of Reflection, Scouter Development, Religious Emblems Counselor Training, and a Youth Religious Emblem Recognition Ceremony. We are able to accomplish these events, because of the many dedicated Scouters that donate their time and energy to providing a quality program.

Bishop's Crew
The Phoenix DCCS has formed "The Bishop's Crew", a Venturing crew with the focus of Catholic Service. The crew is comprised of young men and women of the Catholic faith, 14-20 years old. The crew was formed to assist Bishop Olmstead in his ministry of youth. Click here for more information.
