Diocesan Awards
The St. John Bosco award was developed by the Diocese of Phoenix Catholic Committee on Scouting. There are separate requirements for younger and older Scouts. The requirements include attending Mass in uniform and discussions between Scouts and their families.
In addition to the St. John Bosco Award, the diocesan committee presents certificates to Scouts earning the rank of Eagle (BSA) and Gold (GSUSA). We are working on a certificate for the top AGH rank. Certificates for these ranks are also available from the AZ State Knights of Columbus. See our Contact page for his name and contact information.
If a Scout earns all of his/her religious emblems, a Pillars of Faith Certificate will be presented at the Youth Recognition Ceremony. The AZ State Knights of Columbus also has a certificate for this accomplishment.
